tomatillos 3-4 (depending on their size)
onion cut in half 1 small
peeled garlic cloves 1-2
jalapeno 1/2 add more to make spicer
fresh cilantro 1 large handful- leaves and stems are fine
lime juiced 1
salt to taste

Nothing beats the fresh bright taste of tomatillo, lime, and jalapeno in this Salsa Verde. It comes together super quick too!

  1. Take the paper cover off of the tomatilloes. Place them on a baking sheet with your onion, garlic, and jalapeno.
  2. Bake for 15 minutes at 425 degrees.
  3. Put everything into your Ninja or blender and add your lime juice and cilantro. Words can’t describe the love I have for my Ninja. I use it every single day! 
  4. Puree until smooth.
  5. Add salt to taste.
