Hello world! I am so excited to introduce you to myself and my kitchen skills. For years I have been asked for recipes and asked to teach cooking classes. I finally decided to do something about it and thus, The Teacher’s Table was born.

My name is Jessi.  I  live with the well fed Mr. Teacher and  my 4 cats in Southwest Florida. I am an elementary school teacher that loves to relax by spending time with food. I watch shows about it, read about it, dream about it, and love shopping for it. I am inspired by my family, friends, the world around me, the places I have been and the places I want to visit someday. Food tells a story. It takes you on a journey and brings back memories. Food  is amazing!
