Sweet Cherry Glaze is the perfect quick glaze to add flavor to grilled or roasted meat. It comes together in 10 minutes and makes everything you serve seem fancy.
- Put all your ingredients in a pan except for the butter. I used frozen Bing Cherries.
- Bring up to a boil for about 5 minutes to allow the cherries to break down a bit and the sauce to thicken.
- Just before serving add the butter so the sauce gets a little shiny.
- Add salt and pepper if desired.
This sauce is awesome on almost any protein-chicken, turkey, pork, venison, salmon. It’s pictured above on sliced chicken breasts that I simply just salt, peppered, and threw in the oven. Then I made some sprouted rice blend cooked with chicken broth instead of water. I’m addicted to the nuttiness. This adds to the fancy look and makes it even healthier. This glaze sounds and looks fancy, but it’s super easy!!!!
