Greek Salad with Mediterranean Vinaigrette

We love Greek food! Unfortunately it seemed like the only time we got to eat it, is when we would go to an occasional Greek Festival. So I decided to do something about it. I recreated all the delicious food you would find at a Greek Festival in our own kitchen. Now you can also have yummy Greek food any time the craving arises.

Easy Stove Top Gyro with Tzatziki

The best part about the recipes are that they are easy to make and can be prepped in advance. This makes them a wonderful addition to entertaining menus. Oh and bonus! They are low in fat, high in protein and will not cost you a fortune. I use fat-free Fage Greek yogurt in my dreamy, creamy, Tasty Tzatziki. In addition to whole grain pitas and lean meat in my Gryos. My salad dressing contains very little oil and the Greek Salad is packed with fresh vegetables. Try my recipes for Gyros, Tzatziki, Greek Salad, and Baklava here!

Dreamy Creamy Fat-Free Tzatziki

Do you have a vegetarian in the family or are you trying to be healthier? Try my herbaceous, fresh, and fabulous Baked Falafel. They are great stuffed inside a pita with Tzatziki or on top of my Greek Salad with Mediterranean Vinaigrette.

Look at that green. I’m in love with Baked Falafel!

You won’t feel bad if you splurge and eat 3 or 4 pieces of nutty, sticky, and sweet Baklava. I surely don’t!

Give my recipes to a try! Invite over some family and friends. Run to the store, grab the ingredients, some Greek beer and maybe some Ouzo. It’s time to treat everyone to a Greek meal they will not soon forget.

OPA!

    The only greek food I’ve tried are Gyros. I’ll have to try some others. I’m lucky that I can get authentic Greek food easily. My husband’s boss is 100% Greek and his mom loves to feed people. You can’t say no to YaYa!

    I loooove baklava! We go to the Greek festival every year! ;’;

    • It is the most fun! Now you don’t have to wait until next year for that Baklava.

    These are great suggestions! The fact that it is all easy to make and healthy is an added bonus! Will definitely have to make these soon!
