Quick Tomato Soup with grilled cheese sandwiches is a staple at our house not only for weekend lunches, but for fast and comforting dinners too. This recipe is 2 ingredients, super tasty, and always comes out perfect. It doesn’t get easier than that.
- Pour your pasta sauce into a sauce pan. Any sauce will work from tomato basil, to roasted garlic. I have even used vodka sauce. My favorite though is Tomato Basil.
- Add either half a jar of broth or milk. If you like the soup thinner or you need to stretch it, use more liquids. Don’t forget to put the lid on the jar and shake it for a second to make sure you get out all the tomato goodness.
- Bring to a simmer stirring every few minutes until hot.
- Eat! Want to make it fancy? Top it with croutons, a sprinkle of dried basil, a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
