|jarred pasta tomato basil or garlic onion pasta sauce||1-24 oz.|

|heavy whipping cream or half and half||1 cup|
|red pepper flakes-optional|
|additional optional ingredients: granulated garlic and dried basil||1 teaspoon of each|
Quick Semi-Homemade Creamy Tomato Spinach Sauce is great when you want something a little more special than just a jar of pasta sauce. I like to serve it with cheese ravioli, but it can be used on any type of pasta.
- Place all of the ingredients into a sauce pan over medium to low heat, inducing the frozen spinach. There is no need to thaw it.
- Stir occasionally to break up the spinach.
- When it’s hot, serve with your favorite pasta.
- I like things spicy so I add in extra garlic and red pepper flakes. I used Classico Tomato Basil Sauce, but any jarred sauce will do fine.
